About Melissa
Melissa is a 4th generation Brawley girl, born and raised in the Imperial Valley. Leaving for college to attend Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, and later Baylor University in Texas for a Master’s in Business Administration, she married her high school love, Darren Smith, and moved back to Brawley in 2010. After working as the Controller for a large mortgage bank in San Diego, Melissa decided to partake in the family tradition at Smith-Kandal Insurance & Real Estate where she joined the team as the Financial Controller, overseeing HR & various business development initiatives. Maintaining a California Real Estate license since 2005, Melissa is ready to help you find your dream home or investment property.
Melissa resides in Brawley with her husband Darren and two children.
